It was very confusing and made an awkward situation and more awkward. ![]() I realize this is difficult on servers, but we didn't need to hear how hard it was going to be and the details of how he could do it. Then he went on to explain how he would have to put it in the computer. ![]() He went on to ask us if we wanted our dinners served at the same time. This was awkward for all of us, but the waiter didn't make it better. The couple we went with then asked if we could do separate checks. He took our order and then came back to ask if Suzette went over the specials, which she hadn't. He asked if Suzette took our drink order, which she hadn't. Finally the gentleman assisting her came over. I was rather upset how difficult it seemed to be to accommodate my needs and it took us awhile to settle into our table. The hostess got me a chair so that I could be comfortable. I was facing the corner and my leg and the chair would not be in the way. She asked me if it was a table for 4 or 5. I then asked her if there was an extra chair that I could use to elevate my leg. She finally backed off about taking the walker away from me. She was rather insistent about it until I told her she couldn't take it as I cannot get to the restroom or out of the restaurant if there was an emergency without it. Our server, Suzette wanted to take the walker out of the dinning room. When we arrived we were seated at a table in the corner, which was perfect as I could put the knee walker in the corner behind my chair and it would be completely out of the way. When my husband made the reservation on Open Table, he commented that we needed a table out of the way as I have a leg injury and I am using a knee walker to get around.
